Timothy Thomas is a 2029 C/RHP/SS with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Jackson, MS who attends St. Andrew's. Medium compact build with some present strength to build on. 7.63 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, throws from an over the top arm slot, gains ground into his throws well, makes accurate one hop throws, tends to transfer/exchange away from his body creating extra length. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a low hand load, small toe tap trigger, sinks into his swing, simple and repeatable swing mechanics, mostly pull side contact that flashed some developing strength at contact. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a medium arm swing and tight 3/4's arm slot, hard front side on landing that limits his extension. Fastball topped out at 72 mph and was around the zone. Got more extension on a soft slider with some two-plane shape. Excellent student.
