Evan Hoyle is a 2029 C/RHP with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Shirley, NY who attends William Floyd. Long and lean young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. 7.77 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a high stance and tends to stand up early, longer over the top arm action with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open stance, upper body rotational swing, barrel lags through the zone with mostly opposite field contact. Took at turn on the mound, throws from a coiled lower half delivery with a high 3/4's to over the top arm action. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with some cutting action, also threw a 11/5 curveball with some depth and ability to land it that was his best pitch. Excellent student.
