Angelo Banks is a 2027 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Atlantic Shores Christian. Young athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength, projects well physically. 7.35 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves well side to side and shows athleticism, had confident hands fielding the ball, solid arm strength with developing accuracy and consistency, has the athleticism and actions to stay in the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, has an athletic and balanced set up at the plate with good hand position, keeps his timing and load simple, has good present bat speed, stays inside the ball for consistent line drive contact. Also pitched, works from a full wind up from the first base side of the rubber, high 3/4's arm path, aggressive down the mound with a hard core turn. Fastball sat in the low 80's and topped out at 82 mph. Slider was a nice pitch with good velocity and tight high spin rates. Has a chance as a two-way prospect.
