Andrew Brown is a 2029 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Gates, NC who attends Gates County. Long and lean high-waisted athletic build with tons of physical projection remaining. Two-way prospect as a right handed pitcher and a power hitting outfielder. 7.22 runner in the sixty. Worked from the stretch only, drop-and-drive lower half movements, medium stride out to front foot strike. Fastball worked up to 91 mph with an explosive cut/ride shape to it. Gets a tons of whiffs in the zone with his fastball only, creates huge downhill plane at-times. Paired it well with a tight, late biting slider up to 79 mph with teeth and completed his mix with a developing changeup. High-end upside with more velocity coming. Primary outfielder with developing defensive skill set. Displayed big time arm strength up to 89 mph, deliberate footwork into and through the fielding process. Similar deliberate footwork in the infield with developing range and arm strength up to 87 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from wider base with a high handset high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Leveraged stroke with some hand speed, pullside juice and stays connected and has huge power potential. Excellent student. Named to play in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
