Logan Mackin is a 2027 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 225 lb. frame from Minooka, IL who attends Minooka Community. Big and strong physical build. 7.48 runner in the sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher, operates from a compact full wind-up delivery with a leg lift up to the mid-section. Utilizes drop/drive mechanics and takes a clean arm path before accelerating into a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball was located well throughout the strike zone, ultimately peaking at 85 mph. Mixed in a sweeping curveball and a straight changeup to mistime hitters. Secondary third baseman, works through the baseball with longer strides and funnels it cleanly to the chest. Showed the ability to adjust his glove at the position. Released the ball from a low 3/4 arm slot. Delivered accurate throws up to 82 mph across the diamond. Right-handed batter, starts in a wide stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a level path path. Displayed rotational swing mechanics with developing feel for staying connected. Impacts the baseball with good strength to the middle of the field when timed up. Power tool will improve with minor mechanical refinements and additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 80 mph. Excellent student. Named to the Midwest HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
