Ethan Holmes is a 2025 SS/RHP, C, 2B, 3B, MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Fitchburg, WI who attends Madison West. Thin frame with plenty of room to add. On the mound, its a stretch only operation.Quick arm with short takeback to a three-quarters release. Pounded the zone with fastball to the corners. Forcing weak contact. Flashed a breaking ball with some depth. In the infield, he shows good athleticism working laterally. Takes his time after fielding the ball to get rid of it, but delivered accurate throws accross the diamond. Good on the slow roller. Behind the plate, sets up in a low crouch and a wide base works hard through the ball and gains ground to the target. Short quick arm action delivered one hop accurate throws to the base. 2.12 pop. Right handed hitter, medium base and slightly open stance. Initial move is the small load that gains minimal separation. Small stride for timing and a hands driven swing. Found barrels through the middle of the field consistently throughout the round. 7.56 60 yard. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
