Jorge Arcia is a 2025 C/3B/BHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Pius X. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a hanging leg raise timer, swings hard with a lifting swing path, will cut himself off high at times, best when hitting through the ball, turns his hips hard, swings with intent and creates some bat speed. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has compact and quick actions, smooth in his transfers and coming out of his crouch, very accurate thrower with good footwork into his throws. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a hesitation at the top, hands stay compact and tight through his delivery, full arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph to go with a soft cureball, threw strikes with both pitches and challenged hitter. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
