Josh Rudnick is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Huntley, IL who attends Huntley. A bigger frame and build, with a well-proportioned look. Sturdy frame. Starter's build. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher, working from the wind-up with a sidestep into a leg lift at the waist, with drop-and-drive mechanics. He had good push in the back leg, driving downhill and staying on-line to the plate. He had a full takeaway in the back with a longer arm action and medium three-quarters release. He carries himself well down the slope and repeats the actions well. He had a ton of arm speed with a fluid path through release. The fastball worked 82-86 mph with spin above 2,200 RPMs, carrying well. He also showed a tight slider with a 10-4 shape and depth to it. The pitch had a good bite to it, and he spun it above 2,200 RPMs. He also flashed a curveball with similar depth and 11-5 shape, working the low-70s. Also had a changeup at 78 mph with a spin down into the 1,500s with good depth to it. He was able to mess with hitters and keep them off balance. Put together an exceptional outing on the mound. Good student. Named to 2025 Midwest Indoor TP List.
