Oakley Stanley is a 2029 C/RHP with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Joplin, MO who attends Carl Junction. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to develop moving forward. Ran an 8.41 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, squared set up behind the plate, receives the ball out front with two hands, lower at point of receiving, will continue to refine overall footwork and operation on release, 70 mph down to second base. Also pitched, big side step at start of delivery, high leg lift at top of delivery, stays square to the plate coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 75 mph from a short arm action with a high three-quarters release, worked around the zone with a short running life and mixed a slider at 68 mph with short life. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium base and a high back elbow in the box. Loads hands at start, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing, has moving parts at start of operation. Works on a linear path, high finish through the ball with a contact orietned approach, line drive carry coming off the other way when on time, will continue to add impact with physical strength gains.
