Eric Echeverria is a 2025 SS with a 5-5 150 lb. frame from New Haven, IN who attends Wayne. Smaller compact frame. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Infielder with fundamental footwork to the baseball, developing foot speed, catches it clean out front, works through the baseball, developing range to both sides, but a routine play maker with developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance and leg lift timing at the plate. Inconsistent bat path with some length to the swing, up the middle approach, made some adjustments and started to make more quality contact with a lofted path. Avg hand speed and feel for the barrel. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
