Kain Ankrom is a 2027 SS/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Benwood, WV who attends John Marshall. Solid size for age with present length to his build. Ran a 8.46 in the sixty yard dash. Primary infielder, accurate arm was on display. Good, accurate throws across the diamond. Good feel for it out of hand. Solid hands and good transfers for age. Confident round. Right-handed hitter, even base with toe tap trigger. Turns the barrel well to the pull side and can use the whole field well. Quicker hands with good intent in the path. Components work and can really develop. Excellent student.
