2024 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Cole Bobbin is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Mountain Vista. Slender young build with lots of time and room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high back elbow start, some bat waggle to start his swing, has good bat speed for a 2027 with more to come as he gets stronger, aggressive hitter who is looking to pull the ball and create some impact. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, showed nice arm strength and carry with a long and whippy arm action, clean arm stroke that projects, moves well to the ball with active feet, charged the ball well with good athletic balance. Took a turn on the mound, worked from a 3/4's arm slot with a long and loose arm action, has good pace and athleticism to his delivery. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, plenty more velocity in there, ball comes out of his hand easy. Curveball was an outstanding pitch, topped 2800 rpm even in the mid-60's, creates biting 12/6 shape and had feel for throwing the pitch for strikes. Interesting young arm talent with some athleticism as well. Named to the Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
