2024 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Grayson Thomas is a 2028 RHP/INF with an athletic 5-9 153 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.52 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher, secondary infielder. Full wind-up from the middle of the rubber, good coil down the mound and gets into the backside well, slightly lower, some subtle two seam run to the fastball, and some lateral bite that flashes sweep on the 70 mph curveball to pair off the heater, quick arm, solid repeatable delivery. Secondary infielder, high effort release, dropped slot on the move, arm strength shows here, developing body control and accuracy. Right-handed hitter, even stance, tight hands, loads and tilts over the plate, will improve with consistency to the plane. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
