Dylan Waukazo is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Bemidji, MN who attends Bemidji. Recorded a 7.38 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with long levers. Right-handed pitcher works from the windup with a sidestep into an above the belt leg lift and a longer through the back arm action with a lower three- quarter arm slot. The fastball (2258 RPM) was low 80s and topped out at 83 with arm side run and rides well. Showed a slider (2599 RPM) with slurvy 11-5 shape with depth to it. Clean first inning with quick outs on the ground. Filled zone well in outing. Secondary infielder with some range and some clunk to the feet but was able to make plays. Accurate throws from a lower three- quarter slot. Right-handed hitter, works from a wider base and spread stance with his weight on the back foot with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a lift and replace trigger. Handsy, rotational swing that can turn over the barrel. Drove the ball in the air with solid line-drives to all fields. Good player with a high ceiling. Good student.
