Luke Petrie is a 2025 RHP with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Burlington, ON. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary righthanded pitcher, compact delivery with coil on the backside and drop/drive down the slope, slight crossfire land with short arm stroke to 3/4 slot, fastball worked up to 77 mph and sat mostly mid-70's, moves well and operates pretty easy on the mound, showed curveball with loose shape, flashed changeup that has diving action. Comfortable throwing 3 pitches for strikes at times. Also showed some upside at the plate during games, has compact stroke from left side with clean path, drove a pull-side double in game play.
