Mark Lees is a 2025 1B/RHP with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Stoney Creek, ON. Long frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.53 seconds. Quick hands at the plate, launches clean and shows good feel for using lower half into swing, projects well for power as he gains strength, flashes good contact skills, does a good job of getting the barrel out front, hands stand out as projectable piece. Worked out at 1st base, stiffness to funnel out front, flashes feel to the backhand, clocked up to 71 mph on throws across. Also saw time on the mound, worked from the stretch, long arm stroke through the back, moderate effort to delivery, lands open, fastball worked 65-70 mph with good life to the arm side, flashed curveball with short, slurvy action. Threw strikes with both pitches.
