Oliver Martin is a 2027 SS/MIF with a 5-10 168 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Eastwood. Long and lean young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, athletic actions with bounce to the footwork, takes good angles and fields out front, quick and clean exchanges, feel for internal clock. Easy arm strength across, recorded throws up to 88 mph. Right-handed hitter, open front side with high hands, big stride out into contact, hands work well throughout the swing, handles the barrel nicely and showed impact to all fields. Power should trend up with additional strength. Also pitched and showed athleticism down the slope, running the fastball up to 84 mph (2109 RPM) from a lower three quarters slot. Mixed in a changeup at 70 mph (1637 RPM) with some arm-side tumble. Tremendous student. Named to 2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
