Jesus Garibay Jr is a 2027 1B/LHP with a 5-8 198 lb. frame from Las Cruces, NM who attends . Young, broad shouldered frame with some present strength. Ran an 8.36 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, showed proper foot and glove technique moving off of the bag, showcased an accurate arm on throws, specifically on double play feeds, with developing arm strength. Also pitched and shows confidence in his approach on the mound. Left handed pitcher that had good movement on most pitches, topped out at 67 mph with more to come as he develops and gets more reps. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance with a simple load in the box. Starts with a high hand set and back elbow, stays very balanced throughout his swing. Currently possesses good bat speed and strength with more to come and works to all parts of the field. Good student.
