Oscar Wright is a 2025 1B/LHP/C with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Pikesville, MD who attends Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School. Wright works from a medium projectable build with additional room to add strength and fill out in the future. He worked from a variety of spots throughout the event, starting from his primary 1B position where he displayed range to both sides with a clean fielding funnel, ultimately topping out at 66 mph across the diamond. As the arm action refines, expect velo numbers to improve. In the OF, Wright showcased quicker transfers and released efficiently topping out at 72 mph. From behind the dish, he used a wider set with compactness to the arm action, posting a 2.15 pop time. On the mound, Wright worked from the stretch and stayed balanced over the rubber well flashing simple mechanics and a 3/4 release. Offensively, the lefty started from a wider crouched stance with a high hand set and intent to create lift in the bat path. He attempted to work the middle of the field and displayed contact tool when timed up.
