Adam Hess is a 2024 1B/OF with a 5-11 192 lb. frame from Greensburg, PA who attends Hempfield Area. Strong, compact and athletic frame with proportional strength that plays in game. Ran a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, good athlete around the bag with quick feet, fluid process out front with two hands, some arm strength across and showed an ability to drop the slot on the turn, good fundamental understanding of the position. Secondary outfielder, athleticism translates to the grass, worked through it cleanly, quick release out of the slot, has a good idea here and will improve with additional arm strength. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance with an even base, high hand set, simple and short stride out, knee lift trigger, solid setup and released the backside, has solid bat speed, stays well connected in the swing and worked the pull side effectively with some solid strength throughout the round with barrel control. Barreled up a couple in game as well off some velocity, showing off the bat speed and strength at impact in game action. Solid overall athlete with tools that projects well and has solid upside with additional strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
