Max Strickland is a 2024 RHP/SS, OF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Townsville, QL who attends St Josephs HS. Sarted the event off clocking a 7.73 60-yard dash. A primary pitcher that also shows ability in the outfield as well. On the mound Strickland featured a 4-pitch mix (FB, CB, SL, CH) out of a 3/4 arm slot. Shows fundamentally sound mechanics and a clean repeatable delivery. Ran the fastball up to 88 overpowering hitters at times. Curveball/slider combo has excellent late break and bite producing whiffs at a high rate. Posted three innings pitched and struck out six. Was a standout in the outfield as well where he demonstrated the ability to square up the baseball consistently using a pull approach. Really looking forward to the development of this International talent. Good looking prospect.
