Jake Gaerke is a 2026 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Big durable build. Fits the listed corner, heavy feet when moving directionally, glove secured each ball. Gets himself into good fielding position and delivered each throw with strength, rhythm and accuracy. Rght handed hitter, sets up with wide base that works into a calm striding load that creates healthy separation. Uses the lower half well to generate a portion of the standout power. Drove it hard in the air to the pull side throughout the round, quality in game performer at the plate as well. On the mound, stretch only operation with an above the belt leg lift, clean arm action three-quarters slot and notable extension out front. Mid to upper 80's fastballs with heavy arm side run, just starting fastball in the batters box and running them back over the corner of the plate. Pairs the fastball well with a slider that breaks the opposite direction with some tunneling effect off of the fastball. Misses right handed bats regularly with consistent late break out of the zone. Third pitch a straight changeup that he can throw to both righties and lefties. Strike thrower and a good one with pitchability and stuff. 7.00 60-yard. Outstanding student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
