Primary catcher on defense, has good quickness in his actions and coming out of his crouch, nice arm strength with good accuracy, has some long elements but the athleticism to continue to make adjustments. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open start with a high hand load, has good rhythm to his swing, stays short to the ball, can extend better through contact, turns the barrel well, flashes the ability to create some carry. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
