Collin May is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Grandview. Long and lean frame with projection there. Ran a 7.83 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, has some length getting out of the crouch, gets tall into his release and gains some ground, developing arm strength that will improve carry on throws but sound fundamentals. Also worked out in the infield, plays back on it some but has athleticism to get to the spot and work through the ball. Pitched here as well, stretch only and worked out of a low arm slot, sank the fastball into the low-70s and showed a horizontal shaped breaking ball. Righthanded hitter, even start and limited shift in, throws the barrel out with some length, under control as a whole and able to spray the field with line drive contact, will improve results with added strength. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
