2025 PG 14U National Showcase
Macade Carey is a 2029 RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Nokomis, FL who attends Venice. 7.38 runner in the sixty. Well proportioned athletic build with good present strength for his age and more to come. Works exclusively from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber with a quick leg lift up to the chest. Bigger separation with good extension through a three-quarters arm slot. Lots of arm speed and repeats mechanics well. Fastball as up to 89 mph with life and run. Changeup showed late tumble and was located well at the bottom of the zone. Curveball with shorter bite to it but showed all three for strikes. Competes well on the mound and really projects. Also worked out from the outfield and infield where the arm strength played. Good agility and athleticism with feel for the backhand from shortstop and 91 mph throws from the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a wide and spread start. Hanging front foot trigger with very strong hands. Showed impact to the middle of the field. Lower half works well and is a power-oriented approach and execution. Tremendous student. Named to the 2025 14u PG Select Festival.
