Luke McAtee is a 2027 C/1B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Town And Country, MO who attends Desmet. Medium size frame. Ran a 7,48 60-yard dash. Catcher with a quick catch and pop with online footwork out of the crouch, gains ground, quick transfer and showed developing arm strength with accuracy on throws. Made some notable plays in games on pop ups behind the plate and blocking ball in the dirt. Hit form a slightly open stance. level path through the zone, turns the barrel over well, showed a blend of strength and bat speed with impact pull side pop. Got to the barrel consistently in BP. Named to Main Event Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
