Brian Brower is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from West Islip, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Nice athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Works from a full wind up on the mound starting from the third base side of the rubber, has a clean and rhythmic delivery with good back side drive down the mound, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was in the upper 80's with good running action with more velocity in his future. Change up was a very good pitch with replicated arm speed and nice fading action. Soft curveball tended to flatten out at times. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, has a soft glove, can carry his momentum more into his throws and quicken his transition, makes accurate throws with good carry. Left handed hitter, starts from a narrow and open base, has some bat speed with a pull side line drive approach, found the barrel consistently and flashed some power potential. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
