2024 Iowa Indoor Showcase
Hudson Dinger is a 2026 3B/RHP, IF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from West Fargo, ND who attends West Fargo Sheyenne. He has a tall frame with an athletic build and present strength. Primary first baseman that worked to the ball well and fielded it out in front of his body. He has a clean transfer and throws with a long arm action. He was accurate in this throws and showed advanced footwork when turning the double play. He has good feel around the base and knows the position well. Secondary right-handed pitcher that pitches exclusively from the stretch utilizing a knee to belt leg kick. He works down the mound and lands open to the plate. He fires with a long arm action and delivers from a 3/4 slot with a loose arm action. He has a higher effort delivery but is consistent with his motion. He went after hitters with his fastball that showed life through the zone and held plane on the top half of the zone. He works an 11/5 curveball off his heater that showed nice two plane break and solid depth. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base with low hands. He uses a short path to the ball and has fast hands through the zone, generating nice barrel speed. He has a pull approach and showed the ability to impact the ball when he was on time and made contact out in front of the plate. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 Iowa Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
