Ravi Lord is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Piedmont, SC who attends Southside Christian Schools. Medium frame with sturdy build, good strength and time to refine overall physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.39 seconds. Primary position catcher, working from a higher initial stance getting out of his legs. Emerging overall mechanics behind the dish, gaining ground on throws after solid midline transfer with glove. High effort throughout and standard arm path creating throws up to 75 mph on pop-time best 2.12 seconds. Still room to grow back here. RHH working from a medium and even stance with tight handset out in front of chest. Smaller stride to get moving and aggressive shift to impact. Generating good bat speed with flat path to contact. Will get a bit rotational but swings with intent. Elite performer in the classroom.
