Tino DiFranco is a 2027 2B/RHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Rockwood Summit Sr. Works from a smaller compact frame with some present athleticism. Primary second baseman, stays light on the feet and shows the glove early. Has good footspeed with lateral range to both sides. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond with arm strength up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, operates from a balanced full wind-up delivery with a leg lift that rises up above the belt. Creates clean extension as he works down the slope prior to releasing the ball from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball showed occasional arm-side run with natural depth to it. Landed it for strikes all over the zone, ultimately topping it out at 75 mph. Mixed in a low-60s curveball with spin up to 2165 rpm as well as a changeup that showed arm-side depth. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide and upright stance with a high hand set-up. Utilizes an inward toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a flatter bat path. Gets rotational at times. Produced soft line drives to the middle of the field when timed up. Recorded an exit velocity of 72 mph. Ran a 7.84 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
