Luke Burnett is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 193 lb. frame from Statham, GA who attends North Oconee. Features a medium compact frame with flashes of athleticism to his game. Ran a 7.18 60-yd dash. In the OF, he showed fundamental actions. Exhibited avg. quickness in his approach but fielded the ball clean and out front. Used a side shuffle gather with an arm that worked to an over the top slot. Worked more downhill with his accurate throws that flashed some present strength and carry. At the plate, he sits in an even base with higher set hands that are tight to his body. Uses a simple move to set into launch. Drops a bit with his body and has minimal movement/load to the hands. It's a compact stroke that showed some middle-of-the-field intent and flashed some above avg. bat speed and strength at impact. On the mound, he worked exclusively from the stretch. Operated more quick and up-tempo through his delivery. Used a higher chest leg lift and stayed well-balanced over his back leg. Landed on-line with a shorter stride. Arm worked to an over the top slot which created some downhill action to his low 80s fastball he attacked hitters with it. Flashed a developing 12/6 breaking ball that showed avg. spin.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
