Nieves is a 3B who might be better suited at 2B in the future. He can throw, but doesn't show enough arm strength to play on the left side of the infield at a high level. He does show some smooth actions, especially charging ground balls. His best tool is the bat. He has a nice swing that produces hard line drives with the wood bat. He hit well in the games against some very good pitching. He showed some power potential in BP. His best years are ahead of him. He needs to gain some agility and coordination. That will come in time and you could end up with a good prospect.
