Coleman Barnett is a 2026 3B/RHP/UT with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Marion, AR who attends Marion. Primary 3B with a lean and athletic frame. Moves well to the ball with footwork. Works up the middle well and gets around the ball fielding it. Profiles best on the corner. Has the arm strength to stick there. Was up to 85 from across the diamond and accurate with his throws. Gets the ball out fine from a clean and adjustable slot. Also played outfield getting up to 85 from there. Uses a crow hop into his throws from a one hand gather. Showed good whip to the arm with a one hand gather out front. Arm strength projects. Also ran a 6.88 sixty. Also pitched working through a side-step style delivery with a coiled belt high lift showing some deception in the delivery. Fastball worked up to 82 and was located. Mixed in a slider at 75 and change at 76 with feel for both of them. Frame projects and more velo in the tank is evident. Right-handed hitter with an even set base and good balance to it. Gets front foot down early consistently and uses the middle of the field well. Swing is built for line drives from a simple and fluid operation in the box. Controls the barrel well with good feel. Should continue to get better on both sides of the ball. Excellent Student.
