Maxwell Stewart is a 2027 1B/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Strong and physical athletic build. Left handed hitter at the plate, sets up in a bent knee spread stance with an inward knee lift trigger, swings the bat hard and creates big bat speed, gets the barrel out front and creates lift and leverage, controlled the barrel well, handled left handed pitchers in the game with maturity. 6.78 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has a quick first step and showed lots of game range to both size, has some arm strength for the position. Also worked out in the outfield and would be fine in left field in the short term. Bat is his tool. Excellent student.
