LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Cooper Vais is a 2027 RHP/OF/SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Arvada, CO who attends Arvada West. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Primary right handed pitcher with two-way potential as a right handed hitting outfielder. Throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with a short stride out front, fast shoulder, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 92 mph with cut to both sides of the plate, can work down in the zone more consistently to stay off barrels. Curveball has sharpness and depth, gets on top of it well and uses it confidently at any count. Didn't observe a change up. Right handed hitter, has a good basic swing that was well timed and repeatable, easy present bat speed and lived on the barrel, hits the out front and hits it hard, drove both gaps with carry. 6.63 runner in the sixty. Played both outfield and infield, actions and tools play much better in the outfield at present, arm plays anywhere on the field. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
