2025 PG Sunshine Texas Showcase (National Showcases Qualifier)
Liam Ladd is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Argyle. Athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, charges the ball hard with a quick first step, shows athletic actions through the ball with a clean one handed gather out front, solid footwork in his transition, made accurate one hop throws, more arm strength there. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow open stance with a busy hand load, rhythm and timing based swing, has some bat speed and impact when he's on time, nice game swing against 90 mph, has hitting potential with a simpler and more consistent approach. Took a turn on the mound, has a fast paced delivery with a compact arm and a high 3/4's arm stroke, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some cutting action, curveball showed some sharpness at times, developing change up. Good chance to keep developing in all areas. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
