Andrew Bezak is a 2027 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-8 162 lb. frame from Fulton, MD who attends Our Lady Of Good Counsel. Compact athletic build with good present strength. 7.26 runner in the sixty, speed played up in the game on defense. Primary outfielder who has very good fundamental actions in all aspects, gets behind his throws very well with good footwork and momentum and makes on line accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield and showed good athleticism there and could excel as a utility player in the future. Right handed hitter, hits from a very high hand load with a double toe tap load, inside tight hand swing with mostly back side contact, has fast hands and some strength and can open up his swing with adjustments. Took a turn on the mound, has a basic delivery that he repeats well, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph and had good riding action up in the zone. Change up was his best secondary pitch and used it to both left and right handed hitters, also threw a short curveball for strikes. Nice all around athlete who should keep getting better in all areas, ability to make adjustments at the plate will be key. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
