Chase Massey is a 2026 SS/RHP, C, MIF, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. Features a wiry build with athleticism present. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and in the outfield. Moved well on the dirt. Showcased sound footwork during approach. Hands worked through hops well. Threw 76 mph across the diamond. Caught the ball cleanly throughout outfield workouts. Still developing consistent footwork into the catchpoint. Short arm action produced strong carry, throwing 78 mph. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with a narrow base. Shifts weight well using a hanging leg kick. Swings on a lofted path with good extension out front. Has some feel for barrel present. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes slight drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Stays athletic throughout the delivery. Throws using a short arm action out of a 3/4 slot. The fastball sat 70-73 mph with slight armside run. Will get the offering in on right-handed hitters. Paired it with a slider at 63-64 mph with short, slurve-like action. Still developing overall feel for the pitch. Named to the 13u/14 Sunshine Southwest Showcase Top Prospect List.
