John Olivieri is a 2025 RHP/SS/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from New City, NY who attends Clarkstown South. Olivieri works from a medium projectable build with strength present throughout. As a primary RHP, worked exclusively from the stretch starting from the 1B side of the rubber. Successfully displayed a full, deep arm action and released from a clean 3/4 slot up to 82 mph. Breaker displayed vertical depth up to 2280 rpm, effective when he got on top. CH killed spin at 1599 rpm. Potential for additional velocity to develop. From the OF, worked through the ball well with carry behind throws up to 85 mph. CIF profile during IF workouts with flashes of lateral range, showcasing reliable glove work to pair. Topped out at 82 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the righty started from a wider base with a compact hand set and bigger hanging leg lift trigger. He displayed solid hand speed through the zone with intent to drive the ball to the pull side of the field. Posted an exit velo of 82 mph. Ran a 5.07 forty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
