Aden Manning is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Liberty HS. Started the event off clocking a 6.77 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. Showed developing actions in the outfield. Waits back a bit initially in approach but fields it clean/out-front without much momentum created. Medium length arm action out the glove that got off throws with solid strength (83 mph) that were 2-3 hop accurate to the bag. At the plate, operated from an even base and used a simple lower-half stride with minimal hand load. Shorter stroke/path working downhill at entry and flat into contact. Balanced and behind it throughout. More pull side oriented approach. On-barrel a majority of his round producing hard ground balls and line drives into right. Flashes average bat-speed/strength for his level. On the mound, flashes of some drop/drive traits to the lower-half with some deception. Creates decent length in the stride that lands on-line. Medium length to the arm action out the glove that works to a 3/4 slot with some push at release. Pulls off slightly. Fastball worked into the low 80's that showed some natural running action and filled up the zone with it. Mixed in a changeup that showed decent fading action. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
