2023 Northeast Top Prospect Games @ Rutgers (Wed-Thur)
Michael Psarros is a 2027 3B/RHP/SS/OF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Queens, NY who attends St Francis prep. Psarros works from a lean still plenty projectable build with additional room to fill out as a '27 prospect. From the IF, he displayed a clean buildup with sound footwork, flashing a deep fielding funnel with softness to the hands. He worked through the baseball effectively from both the IF and OF, topping out at 81 mph from both spots. On the mound, the righty utilized a higher coiled leg lift into balance and released from a 3/4 slot up to 78 mph on the FB. He mixed a slurvy breaker with horizontal sweeping action as his go to off speed pitch for outs. Offensively, Psarros started from a narrow base with a high compact hand set flashing a consistent contact oriented approach to all parts of the field. He has further room to incorporate the lower half and add to the power potential in the future. Ran a 7.94 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
