Louis Inserra is a 2024 C/3B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Coplay, PA who attends Parkland. Tall, slender build with loads of physical projection remaining. Clocked a 5.36-second forty time. Primary catcher, low set up, squared up to the pitcher. Quick getting to his crouch with a loopy transfer. Gains ground to target with accurate throws to second, recorded a best pop time of 2.18-seconds. Up to 72 mph on his throws with a quick arm action. Secondary third baseman, plays up on his toes with a deep fielding funnel. Works through the ball athletically, flashing range going to his glove side. Accurate across the diamond, up to 72 mph with more velo in the tank. Right-handed hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance and high-hand set. Compact, line-drive swing plane with middle-of-the-field impact. Incorporates lower half well with easy bat speed. Displayed feel for the barrel and ability to make mid-round adjustments. Present quickness to his hands, producing barrel whip. Excellent student. Named to Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
