Jack Goodman is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 5-11 125 lb. frame from Asbury, NJ who attends North Hunterdon Reg. Slender framed, young prospect with long levers and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 5.59 second forty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Segmented delivery with big leg lift into balance, medium stride length out to foot strike and slightly recoiled finish. Fastball worked in the upper-60s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 71 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve with proper mechanical refinements, mixed in slower 11-5 shaped breaking ball that will improve with additional velocity. Secondary infielder with developing defensive skill set. Implored active feet throughout the fielding process, a deeper funnel to field and worked into a full arm action to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 69 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from even based stance with tight hands, low back elbow and small hover trigger. Incorporates subtle weight shift into contact, showcased developing bat-to-ball skills and occasional line drive contact when on-time. Whole field approach due to length of swing, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Good Student.
