Jackson Mann is a 2027 LHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Clewiston, FL who attends Clewiston. Big and strong young athletic body with lots of physical projection remaining. Simple side step/leg raise delivery with an extended 3/4's arm slot that creates lots of angle to the plate. Fastball was consistently in the upper 70's and maintained his velocity well, gets good arm side running life and sink on his fastball from his release point, worked his fastball well to both sides of the plate. Created some spin and depth on a sweeping curveball with 2/8 shape that is going to be effective to left handed hitters, still developing consistency to his curveball release. 8.61 runner who plays first base when not on the mound. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a deep hand load, has a lift and pull approach with some jump off the barrel when he's timed up. Very interesting young southpaw who will continue to improve. Very good student. Named to the 13U/14U Florida Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
