2024 Fall East Coast Workout Showcase (Friday)
John Deveau is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Summit, NJ who attends Seton Hall Prep. Lean young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.06 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, Deveau works around and through the ball cleanly before releasing throws that got up to 78 mph. A developing defender, he shows the raw tools and ability that come with advancement at the outfield positions. With the stick, Deveau starts with an even base, with his hands close by. The right-handed hitter uses a subtle load before firing through a pair of quick hands that produce contact to all fields. When barreled, Deveau showed some gap-to-gap pop, recording exit velocities up to 84. Terrific student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
