David Baralt is a 2026 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Independence. Features a medium, athletic frame. Offers a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball and changeup. Strictly working out of the stretch with a high three-quarter arm slot. Fastball has arm side run coupled with a changeup that also runs with solid arm action. Simple, repeatable mechanics. On the infield, shows good prep with a quick first step. Has feel for the backhand with a quick transfer and an accurate arm. Shows the ability to funnel up the middle combined with an athletic, aggressive charge. At the plate he has a wide base with a leg lift load. Takes a big stride into contact with obvious strength and extends well at impact. Does a nice job generating from the lower half and found a bunch of barrels in the round. Ran a 7.33 sixty-yard dash. Very good student.
