Noah Vrzal is a 2029 RHP/1B with a 6-5 240 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Sonia Sotomayor High School. Extra large frame with massive strength, especially in the class with plenty of time to refine. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.21 seconds. Primary position RHP, working exclusively from the strength and using a waist high leg lift to gather over the rubber. Uses a medium length inline arm path in the back before accelerating through a high 3/4 arm angle. Simple operation for an athlete his size and repeats at a high level to get to release point and live on the plate. Explosive FB up to 90 mph with riding life through the zone and elite spin traits of 2,450+ rpms. Low-70 curveball with heavy depth and good shape at the plate with good spin as well. Advanced feel for low-80s changeup with heavy, fading life and ability to miss barrels. Great mound presence, pitching with confidence and displaying a very polished delivery for his class. Secondary position IF, working with deliberate footwork and solid glove work as he secures the ball with ease. Corner infielder actions with the ability to change slots and showed feeds up to 87 mph across the diamond. LHH with a strong, well-balanced stance and good handset, showing rhythm to get on time pre-pitch. Really turning hard in the core and generating ample bat speed to go with dense strength at impact. Lofted power to the middle of the field and projects longterm. Top of the class arm talent with more to come. Named to play in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.
