Will Irwin is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Levittown, NY who attends MacArthur. Irwin works from a medium build with projection and added strength still to come. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he showcased some young life out of the hand up to 76 mph with a clean release. The arm action has some room to refine and loosen up, however Irwin flashed athletic movements and range to make plays asked of him. Offensively, the lefty started from a wider base with a high hand set and high back elbow maintaining lots of weight on the backside. He produced solid impact to the pull side when timed up with some juice in the barrel, posting an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.00 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
