2023 Florida Workout Showcase (Friday)
Caden Sladek is a 2025 1B/RHP with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Lakewood Ranch, FL who attends Riverview. A bigger frame & build. Ran a 7.93 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman who had some whip to the arm through release on his throws. Throws to third were at 81 mph, and feeds to second were clean and accurate to the bag on-line. Fields the ball with two-hands up the middle working into the throws. Showed a good sense of the bag with smooth footwork. A left-handed hitter with quick hands with a step and stride to get on time. Direct path with the barrel and the bat speed to pair. Repeats the actions well and has a simple operation top-to-bottom. Used a leg lift trigger as part of his step-and-stride setup. Worked mostly pull-side during his round of BP swings and was able to get into the back-side gap as well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
