Benjamin Hicks is a 2029 SS/RHP with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Sandra Day O'Connor. Good blend of size and projection for his grade, athletic look. Ran a 7.38 sixty. Primary infielder and opened eyes with ability on the left side of the dirt. Good arm strength across and sound actions. Fields to middle and lets the arm eat with carry. Plenty to like. Has a big arm from the outfield that showed in drills, on-line throws and accurate coming down. Very sound process overall looks the part. Also pitched, windup from a low three-quarter slot and has good arm-side run to his fastball. Running changeup that has fade and mimics. Missed bats, arm strength and talent to blossom Right-handed hitter, big strength from a wider based set and big impact to the middle of the field. Has bat speed and impacts it hard. Gets the head out front well. Showed out. Named to Top Prospect list.
